Today in Bridal Veil Oregon . . .

One thing at a time . . .
Where is Bridal Veil?
Bridal Veil Oregon can be reached by traveling Oregon's most scenic highway, I-84, along the Columbia River Gorge. At exit 28 take a refreshing detour to savor the beauty of this tiny hamlet. This is also a great place to begin exploring the back roads and regional waterfalls of the historic Columbia River Highway.

Please check back often and all your questions will soon be answered. Have a question not on our list? Send it along and we'll try to cover it too.

Where is Bridal Veil? (answered September 5th, 2008)

What is happening in Bridal Veil?

What will I see in Bridal Veil?

Who knows about Bridal Veil?

What is the Bridal Veil Historical Preservation Society?

How can I join your organization?

What is the history of this area?

Are there events in this area?

How long has the post office existed?

Can you still mail something at the post office?

When is the Inaugural Benefit Auction for the Bridal Veil Land & Post Office Acquisition Fund? Where will it be?

How can I help preserve the future of the post office?

Tell me about the people and businesses who call this area "home".

Hi, We love visiting The Columbia River Gorge and would like to learn more about the little Post Office at Bridal Veil. What is an easy way for us to help support it? Thanks, Peggie at the coast

Wedding Announcements from Bridal Veil

My friend's daughter is getting married soon and we were chatting about sending out her wedding announcements. I recounted the tale of my beloved and I dropping off our invitations and announcements at the historic Bridal Veil Post Office so the stamps would have the Bridal Veil postmark on them. Not to mention the romantic hike to view the falls! Now that we're not living in the area, could you let us know how someone from out-of-state might get their wedding invitations postmarked from Bridal Veil?

Hi Peggie,
Hi Kim,
Folks and of course brides from all over the world use the Bridal Veil Post Office! It is easy to acquire the wonderful hand canceled postmark, but don't forget to purchase your stamps directly from the Bridal Veil Post Office. It is important for people to understand that the revenue from the sold stamps is what actually keeps the doors open! Feel free to call Geri the official postmaster at 503-695-2380 for complete details. She can explain where to drop your wedding invitations, or how to ship them to her. In fact, you may also want to order your Christmas card stamps directly from this tiny post office. Did I say tiny? That's right. The Bridal Veil post office is the second smallest post office in the USA!
